"Bow Echo" Sparks 70 mph+ Winds, Threatens Wisconsin

8:53 pm. Severe Storm Warnings Extended into Western Wisconsin until 9:45 pm. Greatest risk: violent, damaging straight-line winds over 70 mph. Isolated tornadoes were spotted near Rogers, Anoka and Blaine - the threat seems to be shifting from tornadic to more straight-line winds, large hail and torrential rains.

* AT 842 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 65 MPH. THESE
STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CUSHING TO 15 MILES
WEST OF NORTH HUDSON TO 22 MILES WEST OF NORTH HUDSON TO 37 MILES
WEST OF NORTH HUDSON...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. PENNY SIZE HAIL
