Update: 5:10 pm. Severe Storm Warning posted for Mille Lacs, Kanabec and Isanti counties until 5:45 pm. Storms are moving northeast at 30 mph - a potential for straight-line winds in excess of 60 mph with these storms.
* Tornado watch still in effect until 8 pm, but threat seems to be diminishing rapidly across the area.
* Quiet Wednesday, highs top 90 Wednesday, again Thursday, with a late afternoon heat index approaching 100 F.

* Big drop in humidity predicted for the weekend, highs in the 70s by early next week.
